Common Questions

Before you make contact

Do I need a referral to access FITAHI's psychiatric services?

No. FITAHI accepts self-referrals directly. A referral letter is helpful context for the assessing clinician, but it is not required for an initial consultation. If you have one, attach it to your enquiry.

What are your fees?

Initial psychiatric assessment: KES 8,000–12,000. Psychotherapy and follow-up sessions: KES 4,000–7,000. Neuropsychological assessment: from KES 25,000. We share full fee information before any appointment is confirmed.

How long will I wait for an appointment?

Typically 5–15 working days for a standard initial consultation. Urgent assessments can sometimes be accommodated more quickly — please indicate urgency in your enquiry.

Are sessions available remotely?

Yes. All clinical services are available via secure video consultation, with the exception of certain neuropsychological assessments that require in-person administration.

Do you offer supervision for mental health professionals?

Yes. Clinical supervision from FITAHI's consultant psychiatrists and clinical psychologists is available for qualified practitioners. Use the general enquiry form to start the conversation.

Can FITAHI speak to my employer on my behalf?

With your written consent, FITAHI clinicians can liaise with physicians, employers, occupational health services, and other treating clinicians. All communication is subject to your explicit, informed consent.
